He grew up in Greenwich, [[Connecticut]]. He graduated from St Paul's School in [[New Hampshire]] in 1945 and from Princeton University in 1950.<br /> <br /> He married first to Joan Sumner and divorced her. Then he married [[Lili Clarke]], the daughter of [[Elsie Benkard]] and [[Charles H Clarke]].<br /> <br /> They had a son [[Clarke Ohrstrom|Clarke]] born 1961. They divorced and she next married [[Peter Townsend]] in New York on Dec 25, 1969; while George married thirdly to Sandra Wright, fourthly to Pamala Braga, and last to Jacqueline unknown.<br /> <br /> He died Oct 6, 2005 at his home in [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Plains,_Virginia The Plains], [[Virginia]] of pneumonia.
