Alan Ritchson was born 28 Nov 1982 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to a father who was in the military. The family moved around a lot, so Alan's early childhood was spent in Illinois. When he was about 10, the family moved to Niceville, Florida, where he finished his childhood, attending Niceville High School. When he was 18, he moved to Miami and became a fashion model, appearing in the Abercrombie and Fitch Catalog. In 2005 he moved to Los Angeles. He appeared on American Idol in it's third season, a short role as Aquaman on the TV-series Smallville. Most recently in 16 episodes of the comedy "Blue Mountain State" as Thad Castle. He published a music CD of his singing, he owns a business in West Hollywood called Extreme Boot Camp, he is married, and is a Christian. |
