• Obituary of Larue C Snodgrass in the Los Angeles Times, 1954 stating "Funeral services for Larue C Snodgrass, 78, retired railway ticket agent and operator of 4440 Boston Ave Highway Highlands, La Crescenta, will be conducted today at 1pm in the Wee Kirk o' the Heather, Forest Lawn, followed by interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Forest Lawn Mortuary is in charge. Mr Snodgrass died Saturday. He leaves his widow Myrtle; a son, Wilbur of Fontana; a daughter, Mrs Agnes LaRue Bidwell of La Crescenta; a brother, a sister, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren."
