==Mary Louise Earle==
Mary Louise Earle was born in 1878 in Earlstown, Florida, daughter of [[#Baylis John Earle|Baylis John Earle]] and his wife [[#Leila Thompson|Leila Thompson]].  She married Col. William Alexander "Wild Bill" McCain.  She died at Doylestown, Pennsylvania in 1942.  She is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

Upon his place on the North Pacolet River Fort Earle was built as a retreat for the Whigs. He was born in Virginia; died in Rutherford County, S. C. ; Also Nos. 16545, 27441, 28280."
