Wood Veneer Tape sometimes confused with Melamine Edging, and also called Iron-on Wood Tape, or Wood Iron-on Tape, is a flexible roll, similar to tape but made out of thin wood Veneer. It is used primarily for edging plywood or particleboard to give a finished look to a cabinet door or similar edge or joint of a surface. Melamine Edging also called Melamine Tape or Iron-on Melamine Tape, has the same purpose and dimensions but is made of Melamine instead of Wood. Comes in sizes from 1/2" to 2" wide and typically about 25' long, although you can buy it, at a premium in smaller sizes and some hardware stores will sell it by the foot.
