<-- Back to [[Abraham Eason]] I have in front of me a photocopy of a page apparently from a book of deeds for Morgan County. I will transcribe what it says. "Georgia Morgan County "This indenture made and entered into the twelfth day of November in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty six. Between Harden [?] Robertson of the one part of the County of Morgan and state of Georgia and the heirs of Absalom [as found] Eason of the County of Fayette and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Heirs of Abraham [as found] Eason for the sum of four hundred dollars in hand paid at and before the seazing [?] and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sale and convey unto the said Hardin Robertson their heirs and assigns One hundred & seventy seven and one half acres &c the same more or less lying and being in the Twentieth Dist. of Baldwin County when surveyed but now in the County of Morgan known and distinguished in the said county and district by No Sixteen for which we do grant bargain sale and convey unto the said Hardin Robertson all that tract or parcel of land above described to have and to hold the said bargained premises with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise thereunto pertaining to their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple, to them the said Hardin Roberson their heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the rights and title against the claim of themselves and against the claim of all other persons or person whatsoever.
