 Andrew was knighted in 1662 by King Charles II.  Andrew was Alderman of London, Sheriff of London in 1651, and Governor of the East India Company, the Levant Company, and the Turkey Company.
-He had a daughter Christiana (aka Christian) Riccard, his only surviving child, baptised 19 Mar 1638/9 at St Olave's, London.  She married three times: firstly John Gayer of Stoke Pogis, son of the Lord Mayor and Sheriff John Gayer by his wife Katherine Hopkins.  This first husband died without issue in 1657.

 Christian married secondly to Henry Rich, Lord Kensington on 14 Feb 1659 at Kensington.  He was the son of Robert Rich, 5th Earl of Warwick and 2nd Earl of Holland.  Henry Rich died 15 Apr 1659.

 Sir Andrew Riccard possessed the advowson of St Olave's, but at his death bequethed it to the parish.
-Sir Andrew Riccard has a Monument at St Olave's erected after his death by members of the Turkey Company showing that he died 6 Sep 1672 "aged 68".  Sir Andrew Riccard also happens to be in the ancestry of the author Lord Byron.
