Donald pled guilty to charges of statutory rape of Virgie's ten-year-old sister Kay and another underage girl.  Donald spent six months in jail and then was put on ten-year probation. He and Virgie divorced November 4, 1969.  Vickie's half-sister Donna Hogan states that Donald was violent with his wife and children, from each marriage, and was also an alcoholic.

Vickie married first in 1985, at age 17 to Billy Wayne Smith, age 16 in [[Limestone County, Texas]].  Vickie had dropped out of school in the tenth grade, and they had met while both were working at Jim's Krispy Friend Chicken in Mexia, Limestone County, Texas. They had one child, a son Daniel Wayne Smith on [[Jan 22]], 1986. Anna was hospitalized for a drug overdose in 1986.  She and Billy seperated in 1987. In her half-sister Donna Hogan's book, it is stated that they divorced in 1987, but this is a misunderstanding.  They seperated, but did not divorce until 1993 as shown by the ''Texas Divorce Index''.  She worked at one time as a cashier at Walmart.  She found she could make money stripping and worked at Rick's Plaza, a gentleman's club in Houston.  Saving up her money, she had cosmetic surgery and breast implants.
