Another page from this same source has a bunch of information on the Bate family at Ashby at the end of the 17th and beginning of the 18th century, but in particular I note the following:

"In the 'Reliquary,' vol. xi., and in Glover's Hist. Derbyshire, vol. ii. pt. i. p. 367, are pedigrees of Lowe of Denby, and from them it appears that William Drury, Alderman of Nottingham, married in 1717 Anne, dau'r of John Lowe of Denby, Esq., J.P. for co. Derby.  Their only son and heir, William Drury, marr. in 1748 Mary, dau'r of Thomas Hunt of Nottingham (she survived her husband and died at Nottingham 19 Sept. 1791), and had with other issue William Drury Lowe of Locks Park, Esq., J.P. for co. Derby, who died 1827.  Mr. Drury took the name and arms of Lowe on succeeding to the estates of that family."
