Dean Corll was born 24 Dec 1939 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, [[Indiana]] to Arnold Edwin Corll (b. 1916) by his wife Mary Robinson.  Dean's middle name has been given as "Arnold" and also as "Allen".  His parents divorced, and his mother took her two sons and moved to Houston, Texas, where she married a "salesman named West and the family moved to Vidor, Texas" (E of M, "Corll").  His father Arnold, also moved to Houston where he married in 1969 to a widow Mary Bearss (1913-2007).
