'''James Cudworth II''' Son of [[James Cudworth]] and Mary Parker, baptised at Scituate 3 May 1635 Married by 1665 Mary Howland (their eldest child was b. Scituate 3 June 1665 [NGSQ 75:110, citing records of Pembroke Monthly Meeting]; on 3 Oct 1665, "James Cudworth Jr." was fined 5 Pounds "for committing carnal copulation with his wife before marriage" [PCR 4:106]), daughter of Henry Howland {1632, Plymouth} [GMB 2:1016-19]. He is named in his father's will dated 15 Sep 1681 and proved 7 Jul 1682. The bequests were to "eldest son James Cudworth... my son Israel... my son Jonathan... my daughter Marye's four children Israel Whetcomme, Robert, James and Mary... my daughter Joannah Jones." It also mentions that the four grandchildren are not yet 21 years old.
