<-- Back to [[Kristy McNichol]] ''Albany Enterprise'', July 25, 1957 Aloys H. Wester, 80, resident of Albany for 57 years, died at the St. Cloud Hospital, Monday night, July 22nd. Mr. Wester, a prominent businessman, owned and operated the Albany Creamery from 1900 until 1916 and the Telephone Exchange until his retirement in 1946. He was a charter member of the Father Pierz Council of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the St. Joseph Society. Mr. Wester and his wife, the former Teresa Tholl of Lake Church, Wisconsin, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in January 1954. Mr. Wester is survived by his wife and five daughters and two sons: Eugene N., Wilmette, Ill.; Mrs. R.M. Carlson (Frances), Glencoe, Ill.; Edwin J., Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. J. McNichol (Alice) and Mrs. T. Doran (Lorraine) both of Burbank, Calif.; Mrs. V. Ahles (Angeline) of St. Cloud and Mrs. A. Brinkman (Rita) of Avon, Minn. A daughter, Avaline, died in 1912.
