Sarah Louise (Heath) Palin was born 11 Feb 1964 in Sandpoint, [[Idaho]] and moved to Alaska.  Her father Charles "Chuck" Heath was a science teacher and track coach. and his wife Sally later the same year, when they came to teach school at Skagway. She received a bachelor of science degree in communications-journalism from the University of Idaho in 1987. She is married to Todd Palin, who is a lifelong Alaskan.
