(Luther's older sister was the more famous Stella Adler, actress and acting teacher.  She was Marlon Brando's first professional acting teacher.  Olan Soule, who plays the IRS Agent is more well-known as the voice of Batman in several animated series.)

3 Nervous Man in a Four Dollar Room 14 Oct 1960 starring Joe Mantell
An insecure, unsuccessful gangster named Jackie waits in a cheap, dirty hotel room for his boss.
(Joe Mantell is most well-known for his supporting role as "Angie" in the 1955 movie "Marty" starring Ernest Borgnine.)

A woman undergoes surgery on her face in order to look like everybody else.
(Donna Douglas is more well-known as "Ellie Mae" on the "Beverly Hillbillies".  The voice you hear during most of this episode however is not Donna's, but rather that of another actress Maxine Stuart.  You can watch a recent interview with Maxine here on YouTube.)

While on his honeymoon, a man begins to be controlled by the answer cards given by a fortune telling machine.
(William Shatner appeared in the movie "Judgment at Nuremberg" with several other actors including Montgomery Clift, but he is most well-known as "Captain Kirk" from the TV and movie series "Star Trek".)

8 The Lateness of the Hour 2 Dec 1960 Part 1 Part 2 Part 3, starring Inger Stevens (also Season 1 Episode 16), John Hoyt (also Season 2 Episode 28), and Irene Tedrow.
A woman is concerned over her parents reliance on life-like robot servants.
(Inger Stevens appeared in the film Madigan in 1968 with Henry Fonda.  In 1970 she committed suicide by an overdose of pills.)

9 The Trouble With Templeton 9 Dec 1960 starring Brian Aherne.
Booth Templeton is a Broadway actor nostalgic for his youth and his late wife. During rehearsals for a new play, he finds himself back in the milieu of his first success in 1927.
(Brian Aherne was married from 1939 to 1945 to actress Joan Fontaine.)
